It is the same with the history of each country. There are a lot of things that happened and which were not the things that would make us proud. But, unfortunately for those that have to live after such an event in the history, there is nothing that can be done or changed, because we are not always the ones to make the choice of how things will develop.

Not all Americans wanted to enter the war with Vietnam, but it was the decision of those that had the power and of course, the Vietnamese did not wish that others will invade their territory, but there was nothing to do than defends.

The Vietnam War lasted for 30 years, years in which many people died and many other lives were destroyed. The result of this war – no one really knows for sure.

But what everybody can remember is their children, young boys and girls leaving home to serve the country and what some would like to forget are that they did not return home.

The Vietnam War has caused over 350,000 casualties and these were all Americans, because there were about two million Vietnamese people that lost their lives in this war.

But Vietnamese people did not lose only their lives. Many of them lost their homes and lost their freedom for those years and lost their hope that their lives well get better soon.

The entire world was suffering for the Americans and the lost that the American families lost, but there weren’t that many to think and to sympathize the Vietnamese people who suffered more lost and went to more sufferance.

There were many movies after the war in Vietnam and all of them are trying to show what great heroes Americans were and still are. The fact is that those that went to fight for this war did not know exactly what they were fighting for and they have sacrificed their lives for politic interests and for others people selfish. They were heroes not because they really wanted to be heroes; they were heroes because in a war you need to fight and because those that are fighting are not machines that are simply pushing the trigger. They were humans that acted with fear or with courage and they were people that survived or who didn’t.

There are a lot of soldiers that are still suffering over the consequences that the war with Vietnam got them. They were good then to earn some things for others but now those that took the earnings over this war do not care too much about them, because they are no good.

The Vietnam War a mistake but unfortunately those that are guilty for it will not pay. For this war will pay those that were there in the battle field and the families that did not get the chance to see the loved ones coming back home.
